Your Kentucky Motherhood therapist

Hi! I’m Lindsey.

I’m a licensed therapist in Kentucky. I’m certified in perinatal mental health (PMH-C) and have a strong distrust of anyone who drinks their coffee black (caramel creamer, please!).

I’ve been called “sensitive” my entire life. I know all too well how heavy emotions can feel and how difficult it can be to keep showing up. I started prioritizing my mental health a long time ago- therapy rewrote the script on my life. Being “sensitive” was never a burden, but a superpower. Now, I lean into this strength to connect with the women I work with as a therapist myself.

When I became a mom, my first postpartum experience did not go as part of my well-thought-out plan. But I fell in love with motherhood, so I turned it into a passion.

Sounds great, right? Well, don’t let the red lipstick fool you- this passion of mine is also personal. I’m a mom to four little ones who fill my heart in their own unique ways. My Christian faith is important to me. And my husband and I are building a life that feels authentic. Even still, it takes continuous effort to find nervous system regulation and feel grounded.

Motherhood is such a gift. Protecting it takes intentionality. If you’re ready to find out what this feels like, I’d be honored to help.

What arePMADs?

Pregnancy and postpartum may not be what you thought it was. Excitement and joy are often layered under hormone shifts, intrusive thoughts, identity struggles, and sleepless nights. The cycle can feel endless.

Perinatal Mood and Anxiety Disorders (PMADs) are the #1 complication of childbirth. The most recent studies show that 1 in every 5 women experience anxiety and/or depression during the perinatal period.

The good news? With the right perinatal therapeutic care, these conditions are highly treatable. My certification in perinatal mental health gives me clinical structure in therapy. I also integrate CBT and DBT work.

So, to get to the point…

I got you.

Therapy for moms doesn’t have to be complicated. it should feel like being understood over a cup of coffee.

In Their Own Words…

I started seeing Lindsey a little over a month after having my first baby. I was just so overwhelmed with excessive worry. After just a few sessions, I started to catch glimpses of my old self and learned how to cope with overthinking. Whether it’s advice about breastfeeding, troubleshooting obstacles that occur during the newborn period, or diving deep into personal challenges, Lindsey has it all covered. I would recommend Lindsey to any mom, no matter what point you’re at in your journey. I’m thankful to be in her practice.
- MT, First time Mom

From our very first session, Lindsey created a safe and compassionate space for me to untangle my fears surrounding pregnancy. She has a deep understanding of the emotional challenges that come with motherhood. She continues to help me navigate life with two under two- I am so thankful for her guidance and feel incredibly fortunate to have had her walk by my side during such a transformative time in my life. They say it takes a village, and I am so glad that Lindsey is a part of mine.
- MV, Mom of 2

I have been working with Lindsey for almost 4 years. To say our work together has changed my life is an understatement. We have worked through family trauma, overcoming anxiety, setting boundaries, and now through my journey as a mom. Her support and expertise have made my transition into motherhood happier and healthier. My life is much more balanced and peaceful.
